Do you need to resize your images into Avatars or just make them more web friendly for your website? Don’t have Photoshop or don’t want to mess around Photoshop Elements? I’m not sure anybody really knows that answer, but there is a website called KnowEm.com that will not only give you categorized links to 350 of them, you can check you user name and/ or register on them as well. Go check this out, you might just find something new and very useful to you… I did.

I just found clicker.com. This new site brings together a huge variety of Internet based Movie and TV sources underneath a unified interface. You can search movies, TV shows, music videos, and webisodes all from one place. You can even create play lists, so you can go back and watch content you’ve located at a later time.

Over the summer it dawned on me that my wife and I watch about 60 hours of television programming a month. A privilege which costs us about $100 per month. In our case that $100 included an High Definition signal, and a DVR (rented from the cable company).

The FreeCycle Network keeps track of local free-exchange groups whose goal is to keep your used stuff out of the landfills. You can get rid of your unsed stuff and get some more stuff that you might not use! Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Swap Your Books Instead of Buying
I came across a reference to BookMooch. It’s a book-bartering system that enables you to give away your unused books for points and then “mooch” a book from someone else. This is defiantly worth a look.
